Issues
As the community expands there is a need to have meaningful and
productive discussions about the issues that affect residents, business
and those who fulfill the development of housing and services. |

The
Sooke community is undergoing a great deal of change. Many issues
are 'on the table' for discussion by all parties -- residents,
business, the District, developers, trades and community groups.
The Sooke Community Development Association seeks to engage in
meaningful and productive discussions with peers in the
development/building industry, community leaders, residents, the
District of Sooke, and others who contribute or have a stake in the
growth and development of the Sooke town core and surrounding region.
The
Sooke community is already highly active with many community groups and
active community leaders presenting their views and findings in various
growth and development scenarios. We aim to be an active contributor to
the ongoing conversation.
